The Scooby-Doo Show
The Tar Monster was haunting a recently discovered underground city in Turkey.
- He went inside Shaggy and Scooby's tent, after they found the trail of tar they followed to the above tar pit, were they found the pottery around the site, a very important clue.
- When they split up they found the tar pool within the underground city, and the air compresser and a toolkit and tar streked map of the underground city.
They knew how the Tar Monster was geting in and out of the underground city.
- To trap him, they set a delay on the air compresser and returned to the above the ground tar pit, as bubbles started to come to the surface, one big bubble had him and he got caught on a tree. It turned out to be a Professor's assistant who when missing just before the gang got there. Using his scuba suit to swim through the tar.
- Afterwords using the map of the city, Scooby-Doo and the gang found were he hiden all the treasure.
Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase
The Tar Monster appeared again in Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase. He appeared on the final level and was actually real. He chased Shaggy and Cyber-Shaggy, but was defeated when Scooby reached the box of Scooby Snacks.
Scooby-Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed
The tar monster knew he would come back one last time. The Tar Monster was the last costume to come to life as a real monster, he was one of the four monsters that scooby and shaggy created when messing around with the machine.
He was next saw in the movie when Coolsville was invaded, the tar monster trapped an entire street full of people in tar.
Lastly he was one of the main villains in the final few scenes. The gang needed to connect the control panel to destroy all of the monsters that had been created. To stop the gang the evil masked figure sent the tar monster to smother the Gang. He got everyone but Scooby who needed to get all the way over to the other side of the room. To get across Scooby used a fire extinguisher to make the tar from the monster go hard. Shaggy still had the control panel so when Scooby froze part of the monster with the fire extinguisher, he was able to break his arms free, and Scooby used the fire extinguisher to half skate coared and half surf on the Tar monster to get to the other star and before killing the tar monster and all the other monsters he said his famous catchphrase but in a serious tone: Scooby Dooby Doo! He was finally destroyed when Scooby connected the control panel to the base. The tar monster was the last to die. He was invincible compared to the other monsters.
